About the estate

Located in Claira in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the Domaine de la Vigne Barbe estate has been run as a family business by the sixth generation since 1888. The estate manages a vineyard area of approximately fifty hectares on clay-silt soils in the Roussillon plain, benefiting from exceptional sunshine throughout the year. Production is carried out according to organic farming methods and includes a wide range of wines from grape varieties such as Merlot, Syrah, Grenache noir, Grenache blanc, Chardonnay, Carignan, as well as Muscat of Alexandria and Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains. The portfolio comprises red, white, and rosé wines, natural sweet wines, sparkling wines, and grape juice.
