About the estate
The Domaine de la Brillane estate is located near Aix-en-Provence and covers 14 hectares of vineyards facing the Sainte-Victoire mountain. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 400 meters on the Trévarèse soils, which are characteristic of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation. The property has practiced organic farming for over 15 years and has been certified by Ecocert since 2004. Harvesting is done by hand, followed by minimal intervention vinification using indigenous yeasts. The estate produces red, rosé, and white wines from nine grape varieties including Cabernet-Sauvignon, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Cinsault, Counoise, Rolle, and Sauvignon blanc.
