About the estate
The Domaine de l'Eté Château des Rochettes estate is located in Concourson sur Layon in the Loire Valley and looks back on a history mentioned in manuscripts from 1650. After being taken over by Catherine Nolot in 2001, the 35-hectare vineyard was completely rehabilitated and is now equipped with modern cellar facilities. The property benefits from an oceanic climate and friable schist soils along the Layon river. Covering seven different protected designations, the portfolio includes sparkling wines, red and white wines, and features sweet wines as a specialty. The harvest is conducted through a combination of manual picking for specific wines and mechanical harvesting for the remaining production.
