About the estate

Located in Carcès in the central Var region, the Domaine de l'Estan estate is managed by the Bataille family across four generations. The property spans 42 hectares of vineyards on stony, dry clay-limestone soils situated on south-facing slopes. Farming is conducted according to sustainable principles and holds the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification. The parcels are planted with the grape varieties Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Vermentino, and Carignan. From these, the winery produces red, rosé, and white wines under the Côtes de Provence appellation.
