About the estate

The Domaine de Chateau Guynot estate is located near Saintes in the Charente-Maritime department and is managed by Aurélien Ardouin. Perpetuating family tradition from generation to generation, the family-run estate spans 52 hectares, including 22 hectares of vineyards situated in one of the premier crus of the appellation. The winery cultivates its vines and crafts its products using traditional artisanal methods. The transformation of wine into eau-de-vie is carried out through traditional double Charentais distillation in copper stills, followed by a long maturation in oak barrels for the cognac. The portfolio also includes Pineau des Charentes, sparkling wines, rosé wines, and regional wines.
