About the estate

The Domaine de Cassagnoles estate in Assas is a family-run winery considered a pioneer in single-varietal wines from Gascogne, producing its first 100% Colombard cuvée in 1980. The estate cultivates sixty hectares of vineyards using sustainable farming methods and has been certified Haute Valeur Environnementale since 2016. Vinification, ageing, and storage take place directly on-site in the estate cellars, which also produce Floc and Armagnac. These operations reflect the traditional practices of the winery within the Côtes de Gascogne IGP denomination.
