Domaine Chevallier

About the estate

The Domaine Chevallier estate originates from a long-established winemaking family from the village of Courgis with roots dating back to 1788. In 1987, brothers Claude and Jean-Louis revived the ancestral activity, and in January 2018, the next generation represented by Céline and Tommy took over management. The estate spans 15.8 hectares of vineyards, with production focusing primarily on the Chablis appellation. Chardonnay is cultivated exclusively on the Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils. Depending on the designation, vinification and aging take place either in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats or in oak barrels at the cellar located in Montallery.
