About the estate
The Domaine Chéreau-Carré estate was founded in 1960 and is managed today by two generations working together to run four wine estates. The winery cultivates 17 hectares of vineyards in the Loire region with vines aged 30 to 40 years growing on schist and mica-schist soils. Production includes Muscadet Sèvre et Maine and Gros Plant du Pays Nantais, with Melon de Bourgogne as the primary grape variety. The operation follows sustainable farming practices and applies plot-by-plot vinification methods. The wines are distributed to a clientele of restaurants and wine merchants in France and abroad.
