About the estate
The Domaine Caprice du Temps winery was founded in 1980 by Hugues and Romaine Clavien and is now run in the second generation. The estate is located in Miège in the Swiss Valais, encompassing four hectares of vineyards. The vines grow on a terroir composed of limestone and schist, cultivated through sustainable viticulture practices. Harvesting is carried out exclusively by hand with successive sorting on the vine. Vinification takes place in the cellar using traditional methods in stainless steel vats and barrels.
