About the estate
The Domaine Blondelet Fargeau estate has been family-run for four generations since the 1920s and is located in Pouilly-sur-Loire in the Loire Valley. Covering 18 hectares of vineyards spread across the communes of Pouilly sur Loire, Saint-Andelain and Boisgibault, the winery cultivates mainly Sauvignon for AOP Pouilly fumé alongside Chasselas for Pouilly / Loire. The soils consist of clay-limestone, sandy limestone and Kimmeridgian marl. The estate follows sustainable farming practices under integrated pest management and holds HVE 3 certification. The wines are aged in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks and oak barrels.
