About the estate
The Domaine Belmont was founded in 1993 by Christian Belmont in Goujounac in the Lot department. Today, the estate covers six hectares and sits at an altitude of 240 meters in a landscape characterized by Kimmeridgian limestones. The winery farms its vineyards organically, cultivating grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Syrah, Serine, and Cabernet Franc. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand, followed by plot-by-plot vinification and careful aging. The wines of the estate are marketed under the Côtes du Lot IGP denomination.
