About the estate

The family-run estate Domaine Anne-Sophie et Jean-François Quenard is located in Chignin, in the Savoie region, where it has been established since 1644. The estate spans 16 hectares of vineyards planted predominantly on hillside sites with clay-limestone, limestone scree, and moraine soils. Cultivation focuses on indigenous grape varieties such as Mondeuse, Persan, Roussette, Bergeron, and Jacquère, managed organically with manual labor throughout the seasons. Vinification is carried out plot by plot using indigenous yeasts, minimal sulfites, and a diverse range of vessels including tanks, amphorae, concrete and fiberglass eggs, and barrels. Production includes wines under the AOC Roussette De Savoie, AOC Savoie, and AOC Savoie Crémant de Savoie denominations.
