About the estate
The history of Cave de Cruet (Production) began in 1939 when winemakers from three communes in the Combe de Savoie banded together to form the cooperative. Today, the seventy member growers cultivate 240 hectares of vineyards stretching from the southern slopes of the Bauges mountains down to Fréterive. The grapes are harvested manually and undergo rigorous quality control before being vinified at the cellar. The portfolio features typical varieties of the AOC Vin de Savoie appellation such as Chignin Bergeron, Mondeuse, Jacquère, and Altesse, alongside sparkling wines. The cooperative produces around 15,000 hectoliters of wine annually.
