About the estate
The Domaine André Fouassier estate looks back on a long history spanning ten generations and currently manages 60 hectares of vineyards in Sancerre. Since the 1980s, all parcels have been vinified separately to precisely highlight the characteristics of the diverse terroirs, which include limestone, marl, and flint. Vinification is carried out naturally and traditionally, utilizing stainless steel tanks as well as terracotta amphorae. The portfolio comprises Sancerre Blanc produced from Sauvignon Blanc alongside Sancerre Rouge and Sancerre Rosé made from Pinot Noir. Viticulture is conducted according to biodynamic principles, holding certifications from Biodyvin and Demeter.
The eno directory lists one wine. The estate sells to importers and distributors.
