The Diwald estate cultivates vineyards in the Wagram region, including the grand cru sites Goldberg and Eisenhut. The vineyards, shaped by calcareous loess, provide the basis for nuanced and long-lived wines. The portfolio includes flagship varieties such as Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, as well as rarities like Frühroter Veltliner and Furmint, cool red wines made from Zweigelt, and sparkling wine. Martin and Ulli Diwald rely on artisanal work involving hand harvesting and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in the cellar. The focus is on patience and giving the wines the freedom to develop naturally.
