The Deutsches Weintor eG estate, located in Ilbesheim in the Palatinate region, is recognized as a pioneer for Dornfelder with extensive experience in processing this grape variety. The traditional cooperative handles vineyard maintenance, harvesting, processing, and bottling internally to ensure comprehensive quality control. Led by cellar master Martin Hafner, the winery produces fresh and fruity white and rosé wines as well as velvety soft red wines, alongside its focus on Dornfelder. Modern cellar technology, gentle must filtration, and temperature-controlled fermentation in special tanks guarantee the preservation of the natural aroma potential. Close cooperation with the winegrowers and a comprehensive quality management system oversee the entire process from budding to bottling.
