About the estate

The COSTA DI BUSSIA TENUTA ARNULFO s.s. estate located in Monforte d'Alba in Piedmont was founded in 1874 by Luigi Arnulfo, who acquired the historic Cascina Bertoroni. The winery is surrounded by eleven hectares of vineyards situated in the renowned Bussia cru and planted primarily with Nebbiolo. Steep slopes and soils characterized by clay, marl, and sand require manual labor and impart structure and complexity to the wines. The traditional estate produces Denomination wines including Barolo, Barbaresco, and Langhe Nebbiolo. Harvesting is carried out by hand, and all wines are crafted exclusively from estate-grown grapes.
