About the estate
The Corteforte estate has its origins in a defensive structure built in the early 15th century in Valpolicella, which was transformed into a noble country residence in the 17th century. In the 1980s, Carlo Maria Cerutti discovered the property and initiated its extensive restoration alongside the revival of its winemaking traditions. Surrounded by vineyards in the hills of Fumane, the winery focuses on producing classic regional wines rooted in local heritage. Production relies on the appassimento method of drying grapes to craft structured wines such as Amarone and Recioto. Alongside its winemaking activities, the historic courtyard also accommodates guests seeking an authentic stay.
