About the estate
The Cà La Bionda estate is located in Marano di Valpolicella in the heart of the historic Valpolicella Classico zone and was founded in 1902 by Pietro Castellani. Today, the winery is run in the fourth generation by the brothers Alessandro and Nicola. The 29 hectares of vineyards are situated in hilly locations at an altitude between 150 and 300 meters with eastern and southeast exposures. The estate vinifies exclusively native grape varieties such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara from its own vineyards. The winery operates according to organic guidelines and is certified.
The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Corvina and Corvinone.
