About the estate

The Cordero Lorenzo estate was acquired in 2019 by Francesco, Lorenzo and Caterina, who took over a historic winery in the Oltrepò Pavese while maintaining their family ties to the Langhe region. Located on the hills of Santa Giuletta, the Tenuta San Giorgio spans approximately 22 hectares in a single block, with about twenty hectares dedicated to old vineyards cultivated sustainably with low environmental impact. The property features a sixteenth-century battlement tower and a well-preserved underground cellar surrounded by ancient oak and cherry woods. This combination of historical heritage and a commitment to biodiversity shapes the character of the estate. The production reflects both the winemaking tradition of Piedmont and the new home in the Oltrepò.
