About the estate
The Massimo Clerico estate is a family-run winery located in Lessona in Piedmont, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1700. The historic vineyards are situated on hills with well-draining, highly acidic soils rich in Pliocene marine sands. The estate cultivates native grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Croatina, and Uva Rara. Only estate-grown grapes are vinified in the fully underground family cellar, which benefits from natural temperature and ventilation. The portfolio features wines from the Coste della Sesia DOC and Lessona DOC appellations.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Nebbiolo and Croatina.
