About the estate
The Travaglini Vini estate looks back on a history that began in the 1920s when Clemente Travaglini established the first family winery. Today, the estate in Piedmont is managed by the fourth and fifth generations and exports its wines to over 46 countries. At the heart of production is Nebbiolo, from which the winery crafts wines under the Coste della Sesia DOC and Gattinara DOCG denominations, among others. Giancarlo Travaglini significantly shaped the company from 1958 onwards through pioneering research and the invention of the distinctive crooked bottle. The production process is designed to minimize intervention in the wine and to express the terroir to the highest degree.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Nebbiolo.
