About the estate
The Chateau Sesquieres estate is located in Alzonne near the foothills of the Black Mountain and has been run as a family business since the 1950s. Today, Gérard Lagoutte manages the property, where the vineyards benefit from both oceanic and Mediterranean climatic influences. These geological conditions and the dual climate shape the wines of the AOC Cabardès and IGP Pays d'Oc denominations. The family-run estate operates in accordance with the Natura 2000 charter and holds the High Environmental Value certification. The winemaking focuses on preserving tradition and producing authentic wines predominantly from Syrah, Merlot and Grenache.
