About the estate

The Château Saint Julien d’Aille estate looks back on a long history that began in the year 1014 with the construction of a chapel by the Abbey of Saint-Victor of Marseille. Across 80 hectares of vineyards in Provence, classic grape varieties such as Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Rolle, Sémillon, Viognier, and Sauvignon thrive on clay-sandy soils with quartz pebbles. The winery operates according to sustainable Terra Vitis farming methods and combines traditional practices with modern cellar technology during vinification. More than 80 percent of the grapes are hand-harvested and sorted before the winemaking process takes place in the cellars.
