Chateau Lacroux

About the estate

The Château Lacroux estate is a family property located on the hillsides of the Gaillac appellation and managed by the same family for eleven generations. The vineyard soils feature a duality of mineral-rich marl as well as dry, draining limestone and clay. These sites shape the organically certified wines produced from local grape varieties such as Braucol, Duras, Prunelard, Mauzac, and Loin de l’Œil. The red wines are characterized by a unique structure and aromas of dark fruits with a hint of spice, whereas the white wines exhibit significant aromatic richness.
