About the estate
The Chateau la Boissiere estate cultivates thirteen hectares of vineyards on sunny clay-limestone slopes in the Côtes de Duras region. This traditional family business is managed in the fourth generation with a strong commitment to respectful soil management. The grape varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec for red wines, as well as Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Muscadelle, and Chenin Blanc for white wines. The portfolio features wines from the Côtes de Duras appellation alongside special cuvées such as the Pourquoi Pas line and the single-varietal Vieilles ferrailles wines.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
