The Château L'Escarderie estate in Saint-Germain-de-la-Rivière was acquired in 2015 and currently spans five hectares of vineyards within the Fronsac appellation. The family manages the estate following organic agricultural practices, utilizing traditional methods and draught horses for vineyard work. The historic neo-gothic cellar is semi-subterranean, which facilitates gentle gravity-fed processing of the harvested grapes. Winemaking relies on indigenous yeasts, barrels, and both stoneware and earthenware amphorae for maturation. Harvesting is conducted entirely by hand.
