About the estate
Located in Saillans in Bordeaux, the Château Villars estate has been managed by the same family for seven generations. The vineyard covers 29.65 hectares of vines on the hills of the Isle valley with clay-limestone soils. The parcels are harvested after strict ripeness control to ensure optimal grape quality. Since 1978, the wines have been aged exclusively in barrels, one-third of which are renewed each year. The estate's portfolio includes wines from the AOC Bordeaux and AOC Fronsac appellations, among others.
