About the estate

The Château Étang des Colombes estate is located in the heart of the Corbières region, spanning 80 hectares of vineyards with clay-limestone and stony soils. The property is managed in the fourth generation, following a history that began with pioneer Joseph Calmon. Traditional grape varieties of the appellation such as Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre define the production, which includes wines under the AOC Corbières denomination and varietal wines. Henri Gualco later contributed to the estate by establishing complete estate bottling and building an underground cellar for wine maturation. Today, Christophe Gualco oversees the winery, which has expanded its presence beyond national borders.

The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Viognier. The estate sells to retail.
