About the estate

The Château des Bois estate is located in the municipality of Satigny within the Republic and Canton of Geneva and was established in 1631. The historic property cultivates 4.8 hectares of vineyards on the well-oriented slopes of Bourdigny and Peney, with the vast majority situated in the AOC 1er cru area. Nine different grape varieties are represented in the vineyards, planted at high density using the Guyot system and managed according to Swiss environmental standards. Following careful vinification, a portion of the wines is aged in barrels in the estate's cellar, including oak sourced from its own forest. The winery sells between 30,000 and 32,000 bottles annually.
