About the estate
The Château de Mérande estate covers a vineyard area of twelve hectares in Savoy. Seven hectares are planted with Mondeuse, including old vines producing the Cru Arbin, alongside Roussanne, Altesse, and smaller plots of Gamay, Jacquère, and Persan. Since the year 2000, historic hillside plots such as le Paradis and les Terrasses de Lourdens have been brought back into cultivation. Viticulture is conducted organically certified by Ecocert and biodynamically following Biodyvin standards, which includes the use of animal traction. Vinification takes place in the cellars of Château de Mérande, which have been renovated since 2001.
