About the estate

The family-run Domaine du Moulin de l’Horizon estate is ideally located in the heart of the Loire Valley and has been managed by the Des Grousilliers-Lefort family since 2002. Spanning 32 hectares of vineyards, the estate cultivates primarily Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc, and Chardonnay on clay-limestone and clay-sandy soils. The vineyards are farmed following the principles of sustainable and reasoned agriculture with minimal use of sulfur. All wines are cultivated, vinified, blended, and bottled directly at the estate. The portfolio features various regional appellations including Saumur, Anjou, and Crémant de Loire.
