About the estate
The CHÂTEAU BOURGUET « Gaec des Bourguets » estate cultivates just under 23 hectares of hillside vineyards in the commune of Vindrac-Alayrac, located on the northernmost soils of the Gaillac appellation. The vineyards feature very stony clay-limestone soils with a southeast exposure facing the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel. The winery has been run with dedication by the Borderies family for four generations. The local climate benefits from a combination of both oceanic and Mediterranean influences. The produced wines fall under the AOC Gaillac, AOC Gaillac doux, and Cotes du Tarn IGP denominations.
