About the estate
The Celler Mas Doix winery was founded in 1998 by Valentí and Ramon Llagostera in Poboleda within the Priorat region. The vineyards are planted with Grenache and Carignan on the region's characteristic llicorella slate soils. The estate strictly applies organic viticulture with biodynamic practices, performing all vineyard work and harvesting exclusively by hand. In the cellar, vinification involves minimal intervention with fermentation taking place in stainless steel vats, wooden vats, and open barrels. This approach yields fresh, elegant wines with subtle minerality and limited production.
