About the estate
The Vinícola del Priorat estate is situated in the heart of the Priorat region and is the successor to local cooperatives from the villages of Gratallops, el Lloar, La Vilella Baixa, and la Vilella Alta, founded starting in 1917. The members jointly cultivate more than 300 small parcels on slate soils across steep slopes. The rugged terrain, characteristic slate soils, and advanced age of the vines shape the character of the wines. Through traditional craftsmanship and extended macerations, structured wines with ageing potential are produced. The wines are marketed under the Priorat DOQ denomination.
