Cave Maurice Zufferey

About the estate

The Cave Maurice Zufferey estate cultivates 8.5 hectares of vineyards in the Swiss canton of Valais under the AOC Valais denomination. Based in Sierre, the winery manages steep plots situated on the initial slopes of the municipalities of Sierre, Venthône and Veyras. The grape variety portfolio includes Petite Arvine, Cornalin, Pinot Noir, Humagne Rouge, Fendant and Heida. The vineyards feature clay-limestone soils and benefit from ideal south and southwest exposures. Viticulture follows integrated production methods with an ongoing transition toward organic farming, and the majority of vineyard tasks are performed manually.
