About the estate
The Cave Coopérative de Montpeyroux estate, formed by the merger of historical cooperative wineries such as Cave Saint-Maurice founded in 1925 and Cave Castelbarry, cultivates 2300 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards stretch across contrasting landscapes between the foothills of the Cévennes and the limestone plateaus of Languedoc. The portfolio includes wines from the AOC Languedoc, AOC Terrasses du Larzac, Cévennes IGP, Montpeyroux, and Saint Guilhem le Désert IGP denominations. A significant portion of the estate is farmed organically, complemented by parcel selections and a strong commitment to sustainable practices. The structure unites collective craftsmanship with the production of expressive, terroir-driven wines.
