About the estate

The Cavas Marevia, S.L.U. winery located in Requena was acquired in 2019 by the Hevia Ferrer family, whose descendants bring over a century of experience in quality sparkling wine production. Situated on a high plateau influenced by a continental climate with Mediterranean features, the estate focuses on organic viticulture and sustainability. The vineyards feature clay-limestone soils with low organic matter, where varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Macabeo, Garnacha, and Monastrell are cultivated. A defining characteristic of the estate is its prominent use of Chardonnay, which adapts exceptionally well to the local terroir and complements the native Macabeo. More than 75 percent of the production is exported to over 30 international markets.

Export markets include Belgium.
