About the estate

The Catalano Rosario estate is run as a family business across three generations and cultivates twelve hectares of vineyards in Sicily. The vineyards stretch between Gela and Butera at around 400 meters above sea level within a limestone geosited area. The grape variety portfolio includes Nero d’Avola, Grillo, Sauvignon Blanc, Frappato, Cerasuolo di Vittoria, and Syrah. The operational approach relies on organic farming, manual labor, and respect for natural habitats. In 2022, the restoration of an old farmhouse began, which now houses the winery and tasting rooms.
