About the estate

The Vini Tenute Senia estate looks back on a long winemaking history dating back to around 1850, located in the renowned Contrada Senia district in Sicily. The winery manages 15 hectares of vineyards, cultivating indigenous grape varieties such as Frappato, Nero d'Avola, Insolia, and Grillo. Farming is conducted conventionally, with the complete elimination of glyphosate weed killers since 2010. The production process relies on hand-harvested grapes, gentle pressing, and temperature-controlled fermentation. The estate is situated in the traditional production zone of Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG and Vittoria DOC.
