About the estate

The CASCINA SARIA di ABBRUZZO FRANCESCO estate is located in Neive in Piedmont, amidst the hills of the Langhe, and operates as a family-run business. The winery was established in the 1970s when Giovanni Abbruzzo and his wife Maria acquired an old farmhouse surrounded by fields and vineyards. Since 1999, the family has been producing and bottling its own wines independently, with three of the four children managing the cultivation, winemaking, and sales sectors. Spanning a vineyard area of approximately 13 hectares, the estate focuses on low yields per hectare to produce wines that include the Barbaresco DOCG, Barolo DOCG, and Barbera d'Asti DOCG appellations.
