The CASCINA PICCALUGA AZ.AGR. di Abellonio Roberto estate is located in Alba, Piedmont, and has been run in its current form since 1996 by Roberto Abellonio, whose family has roots in viticulture spanning multiple generations. Across approximately ten hectares of vineyards in areas such as Altavilla, Treiso, Barbaresco, and Santo Stefano Belbo, varieties including Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Arneis, Moscato, and Chardonnay are cultivated. The portfolio includes various denominations such as Barbaresco DOCG, Barolo DOCG, and Barbera d'Alba DOC. The estate relies on integrated pest management and organic fertilization in the vineyards, alongside the use of renewable energy and rainwater recovery in the winery.
