Casanuova delle Cerbaie

About the estate

The Casanuova delle Cerbaie estate began its winemaking journey in the early 1980s following the acquisition and restoration of an old farmhouse in Montalcino in Tuscany. The property was taken over by a new owner in 2008, leading to the purchase of additional vineyards and the expansion of the cellar. The vineyards are situated in the northern part of the region at an altitude of approximately 350 meters on Eocene-era soils characterized by limestone, marl, clay, and conglomerate rocks. In the cellar, the winery utilizes Slavonian oak casks as well as barrels from Franz Stockinger for the aging of the wines.
