About the estate
The Portuguese producer Casa Agrícola Santos Jorge cultivates around sixty hectares of vineyards in the Alentejo region. The origins of the vines date back to the late nineteenth century, when José Maria dos Santos merged several parcels between Moura and Sobral d'Adiça. The estate is one of the oldest private wine producers in the area and crafts wines such as the Santos Jorge Edição Limitada made from Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaking responsibilities are held by Alexandra Mendes.
