About the estate

The Capanne Ricci estate is located in Sant’Angelo in Colle in Tuscany and is managed by the siblings Ida and Ferruccio Ricci in a two-century-old family tradition. Across twenty hectares of vineyards, the estate primarily cultivates Sangiovese alongside Trebbiano and Syrah. The vineyards stretch along the hillsides of the medieval village of Sant’Angelo in Colle and further down toward the Orcia river. The portfolio includes Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC, and Vin Santo del Chianti DOC. In the renovated cellar at Podere il Casello, the wines are matured in Slavonian oak barrels followed by bottle aging.
