About the estate
The Cantine Pepi estate is run by women whose family history in the wine sector spans four generations. The vineyards cover thirty hectares in a hilly landscape in Sicily, situated along the Dirillo river. Cultivated grape varieties include Nero d’Avola, Frappato, Syrah, as well as Grillo and Insòlia. The soils feature a limestone structure combined with clay and sand. Farming is carried out without artificial irrigation, and grape harvesting is performed strictly by hand.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Nero d'Avola and Frappato.
