About the estate
The Cantine Olivella winery was founded in 2005 in Sant’Anastasia at the foot of Mount Vesuvius and is run by the Cozzolino and Giordano families. The estate cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards on volcanic soils within the Vesuvius National Park. The vineyards are spread across elevations between 300 and 650 meters on Mount Somma. The estate exclusively cultivates native grape varieties such as Catalanesca, Caprettone, and Piedirosso. Vinification takes place directly on-site following strict quality standards.
