About the estate
Cantine di Marzo in Tufo looks back on a history spanning almost four centuries and is considered the oldest still active winery in Campania. The historic cellars are located in an ancient palace managed by descendants of the founding family. Under the leadership of Ferrante di Somma and winemaker Vincenzo Mercurio, the estate produces wines such as Greco di Tufo DOCG, Fiano di Avellino DOCG, and Taurasi DOCG. With an annual production of around 160,000 bottles, the wines are exported to at least twelve countries. The production methods combine traditional cellar facilities with modern technology for vinifying indigenous grape varieties.
