About the estate
The Sella delle Spine winery was founded in 1970 in Taurasi in the Irpinia region by a family combining tradition with new technologies. Since the end of 2000, Luigi Caggiano has led the estate, which is now managed together with his children. The work in the vineyards and the cellar is guided by the characteristics of the climate and the soils to produce wines with a strong personality. The portfolio includes the denominations Fiano di Avellino DOCG, Greco di Tufo DOCG, and Irpinia Aglianico DOC, among others.
