Über den Betrieb
Das Unternehmen Cantina Villa Pigna wurde 1968 von Costantino Rozzi gegründet, der seine ersten Weinberge erwarb. Im Jahr 1970 entstand die vollständig von Reben umgebene Kellerei, die über einen natürlich klimatisierten Raum für den Ausbau verfügt. Die Leitung blieb über Generationen in der Hand der Familie und liegt heute bei den Nachfahren inklusive Sohn Giorgio. Nach einer langen Geschichte als Generalist hat sich das Weingut auf die Produktion von Rosso Piceno Superiore DOC spezialisiert. Zum Portfolio gehören traditionelle sowie international ausgerichtete Cuvées aus Rebsorten wie Montepulciano, Sangiovese und Cabernet Sauvignon.
